PROPERTY development company ORRA has completed Stage 1 of its $50 million campus-style office park in the rapidly developing North Lakes. The 13,500sq m Lakes Vista site will account for more than one-third of the 35,401sq m of new office space predicted to enter Brisbane's fringe markets in the next 18 months. ORRA managing director Paul Brandenburg said "some very big decision makers" were investing in the North Lakes area because of the expectations of population and infrastructure growth. "Big brands like Masters, IKEA and Westfield are aligning in a strategic stronghold which capitalises on the growing population in the workforce and shifting demographics," he said. Mr Brandenburg said that 80 per cent of the inquiries for the Lakes Vista office park were from local business owners. "We've already sold four office spaces including one of the 11 buildings in the park, which is a great reflection of current market trends." he said.
