Our Commitment to Sustainability

We are extremely conscious of our role in the community as a good neighbour. As proof of this we take every possible measure to minimise the environmental impact of each and every project. We strive to maintain construction standards that meet Australian “green star” ratings and currently have in place Green Star Office design applications.
 

This approval, given by the Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA), is only granted to companies that integrate green building initiatives and engage in green building programs, technologies, designs and construction practices.

Peter Sherrie's career in the property development industry spans over 20 years. As National President of the UDIA (2010-11) Peter’s highly respected reputation is based on the successful delivery of master planned communities throughout Queensland. Peter’s past projects with Stockland, Delfin / Lend Lease and Peter Kurts Properties confirm his position as one of the most experienced property specialists in the business. 

Neal McCulloch Chief Financial Officer

Neal McCulloch has over 30 years of experience in senior finance roles in a variety of businesses and industries, including stockbroking/funds management; manufacturing; agribusiness and chartered accounting. Neal is responsible for the finance,treasury, information technology and administration functions for Excel. He holds a Bachelor of Business and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.

Candice Redmond General Manager Commercial and Retail

With an impressive background working on commercial and retail projects including The Barracks, SW1 and Nundah Village, Candice is responsible for the management of Excel’s industrial, retail and commercial division. Originally a lawyer with Property Solutions Group, Candice specialises in all aspects of planning,design, construction and delivery through to leasing and management.

Jeneane Morphett Financial Controller

Jeneane Morphett’s 25 years’ experience in the UK and Australia is backed by her extensive knowledge base and commitment to deliver effective accounting and financial solutions to support the Excel Team and their projects. Jeneane holds a Bachelor of Business and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Robert Dekker Property Manager Commercial and Retail

Robert's career in property management spans 18 years, specialising in Commercial and Retail Shopping Centre Management. Robert has extensive experience working with commercial agencies and institutional investors as well as self-managed asset companies. Also achieving a Bachelor of Business in Property Studies, Robby is a welcome asset to our team.

Reid Ferguson Property and Facilities Manager

Reid has over 10 years’ experience in the property industry, having worked in management and operational roles across all facets of property from storage facilities to award winning retail precincts, including South Bank and The Barracks. He is client focused providing a seamless information flow from tenant to landlord enabling swift and proactive management of our properties.

Christina Hii Accountant

With an accounting career spanning over 20 years in Malaysia and Australia, Christina Hii brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Excel Group. Christina has developed her skills working with property companies including Yong Realty Group and Naim Holdings Berhad.

Reshma Araveti Accounts Assistant

With a Bachelor and Masters in Commerce and 9 years accounting experience, Reshma assists Excel’s finance division as Accounts Assistant. Previously working in various financial and accounting positions for groups such Red Cross Australia, the LCR Group, The Bradnam Group and Guide Dogs Queensland, Reshma brings her unique skill set and support to the Excel team.

Dorota Cameron Executive Assistant and Office Manager

Dorota Cameron supports Excel’s executive team with nine years administration and office management experience from the UK, New Zealand and Australia. With a strong background in the finance industry, Dorota assists in the development of dynamic management systems and solutions for every Excel project.

Nikki Stephenson Executive Assistant and Office Manager

Nikki has excelled in office administration and executive support roles in the United Kingdom, South Africa and Australia. Working with local government and the private sector, Nikki brings 12 years’ experience to the Excel team and holds a Diploma in Project Management and Cert IV – Business Administration.
